Wood powder is a combination of real wood fibers and minerals. During the production process, it is applied to the top surface of the core board just prior to the pressing of the hardwood top layer. The pressing process liquefies the wood powder compound which infuses into the pores of the hardwood creating a durable, hard wearing engineered floor while maintaining all the natural characteristics and beauty of the wood species.
This production process makes Lindura a durable, hard wearing and easily maintained flooring.
Here you can see how hard-wearing and durable Lindura really is. The fall of a steam iron filled with water from a working height of 36" has been simulated. The results speak for itself – Lindura shows little to no dents, while customary parquet flooring is highly damaged.
Drop test with a ball (left) and a wedge (right) from a height of 36".
The patented locking system Masterclic Plus makes the floating installation of Lindura very easy and highly secure. Find out all about this simple and efficient floating installation in our video on how to install Lindura.
